Every guide tells you plainly whether a job is safe to do yourself, and where the line is. A lot of water damage never needs a restoration company. A lot of mold is a sponge and a fan. And some jobs, like sewage, asbestos and trauma cleanup, should never be DIY no matter what a video says.
